Earlier the results were to be declared on 26th May but delayed after the order of High Court regarding five-point moderation policy. Some students were also in stress of their results. And now when the results have been out the students can have relief after checking their marks.

This year the board organized the class 12th examination from March 9 to April 29 in which as many as 10,98,891 students appeared from 10,678 schools registered.

CBSE Class 12th Pass Percentage 2017 Overall Boys & Girls

The overall pass percentage for this year has dipped a little. This year around 82 percent students made it through the CBSE class 12th board exam which was around 83.05 percent last year.

Following the trend girls again outperformed boys pass percentage of 87.50 while boys pass percent stood at 78 per cent. However overall pass percentage of girls has fallen this year as last the number registered was 88.58 percent.

This year Raksha Gopal from Amity International School in Noida has topped the CBSE class 12th board exams 2017 in Arts stream. Raksha has got 99.6 per cent marks in CBSE Class XII board papers.

Bhumi Sawant De from DAV Chandigarh got 99.4 per cent and become second 2nd topper while Aditya Jain from Bhawan Vidyalaya in Chandigarh become 3rd topper with 99.2 per cent.

Education minister Prakash Javadekar personally called up all the three toppers and congratulate them for their success in the board examinations.

He said,”I congratulate all those students who have succeeded in CBSE and other board exams.”

“I also call upon my students who could not succeed as the defeat is not final unless we keep trying. You should try more and get more and you will get success definitely,” Mr Javadekar added.

Those students who doesn’t get good marks need not to worry of their admission in big colleges. Remember it is only you and not name of college that makes the difference. So working hard and try to learn new things.
