The fact is that, with every tweet he earns money also. He has earned lakhs of Rupees with these tweets! You got that right; in an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, he revealed this.
During this interview Sehwag was told about his life as a commentator and in this, he also told about his Twitter earnings. He revealed his earning from twitter and said that he has earned 30 lakhs in last six months by tweeting. What he said,
“I have, in the last six months, made around Rs 30 lakh through my tweets.”
But how ??? Even we also tweets but we haven’t earned a single penny on twitter. Well, seeing his wit, brands have hired him for posting tweets for them.
Sehwag started tweeting all jokes that he used to crack in the dressing room and they become a hit. With shares and retweets, sponsors started following and money started flowing in.

“When I began my life journey, we’d survive on Rs 500 a month as a family,” says Sehwag. “As time passed and I started playing for the country, this Rs 500 multiplied manifold, but it was not the money that mattered, it was the fact that I was fulfilling my ambition of playing cricket on the highest platform, representing my country. That was more satisfying than anything else,”
