HTC U Ultra Dual Display Smartphone Launching Soon In India

U series phone from HTC is launching very soon in India Market. The company has sent out the press invites confirming the launch of HTC U Ultra smartphone in India on 21st February 2017.

Last month, in January company announced 2 U series phones, U Ultra & U Play. Both these devices are already being available for Pre-ordering in UK. We might see the launch of U Play also regardless company hasn’t mentioned it.

HTC U Ultra Smartphone Full Specs Features Price In India 2017

In UK the 64GB storage variant of phone is available at £649. Which is around $807 that in Indian currencies calculates to Rs 54,000. So it is high price tag phone from HTC like most of its other devices. But what is different in this device let’s check.

It is mentioned that U Ultra to come with Liquid Surface body. Which means it comes with a curved glass with reflective nature. It runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System & on top of which runs HTC Sense UI. The phone features 2 displays.

It has a 5.7-inch main display which comes with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution while secondary display of 2.0″ offers 1040 x 160 pixels resolution. The secondary display situated beside front camera & placed on top of the main display of phone.  The secondary display can be used for showing notifications, top contacts, and apps shortcuts etc. It has LCD 5 Panel which is given Gorilla Glass 5 protection. If you opt for a higher version of HTC U-Ultra then it will be have a Sapphire Glass protection.

If we talk about processor, the device is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 821 SoC quad-core processor clocked at 2.15 GHz which is also coupled with Adreno 530 GPU.

Special Features Of HTC U Ultra In India

The phone is provided with 3,000mAh non-removable battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging feature. With the U series, the company has also introduced its own digital assistant called Sense Companion. It is similar to Google Assistant and Amazon Echo with built-in voice recognition. You can activate / wake up it by saying a specific keyword as in case of Amazon Echo you say Alexa. It can do various task for you on your order.

The HTC U Ultra comes with 4GB of RAM under the hood. If we talk about storage, it comes in 2 storage variants viz 64 GB & 128 GB. You can also expand this storage through micro SD upto 2 TB.

Now coming to camera section, device comes with dual camera. The primary camera (rear camera) comes with a 12 MP Ultrapixel 2 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF Laser Autofocus, and OIS. On front you can click great selfies with its 16 MP fixed focus f/2.0 aperture.

It will offer BoomSound speaker and four microphones for hi-resolution audio recording. On front is a Home Button features an integrated fingerprint sensor & can be used for authorizing payments. The phone supports USB Type-C port for connecting headset using an adapter & not usual 3.5 mm audio port.
