Kargil War Reporter Barkha Dutt Resigned From NDTV After 21 Years & Joined

NDTV Journalist Barkha Dutt has resigned from NDTV. She quit with them after 21 year long journey. She is known for her quality journalism on the weekly show “We The People” Check @ SUNOBAWA the reason she resigned Delhi based NDTV for.

Reason Why Barkha Dutt Resigned From NDTV

Barkha Dutt informed her resign from NDTV on Twitter. She left a series of Tweets to let her followers know about her decision. She tweeted,

In her first tweet she said about her last “We, The People Show”

On her next tweet, she told about moving on from NDTV to explore something more. That means, she is not quitting Journalism.

And at last regarding her future plans she tweeted this,

Barkha emerged as a prominent figure after her frontline war reporting on the Kargil Conflict between India and Pakistan in 1999. She has got various national as well as international honors for her journalistic standards. On her decision, NDTV released an official statement saying this :

“In 1995, Barkha Dutt joined NDTV straight out of college, and now, after 21 wonderful years together, Barkha has requested that she would like to explore some new opportunities, pursue other interests and work on her own ventures. In all her years with NDTV, she has been hugely productive and has grown with the organisation, becoming an acclaimed, award-winning journalist of repute across India and many parts of the world. We are certain that Barkha will go from strength to strength and NDTV wishes her all the very best.”
